Wynter is a interesting paranormal story with witches, ghost,
vampire, chameleon.
Wynter and others are trying to solve a mystery. A story full of mishaps, casting spells and finding love. Aria Holland is very animated in telling this story making it very enjoyable to listen.

Quirky Paranormal Romance

Wynter by Mia Harlan is a quirky witch romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Aria Holland. This is the first book in the Silver Skates series and can be read as a standalone.

I thought the book was a cute and quirky romance. I enjoyed getting Zoe, Xavi, Ghost, and Leith's point of view throughout the book.

Mia did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

Naughty, Naughty Fun in Silver Springs!

Brace yourself, all is not as it seems in Silver Springs. Ice blocks that can melt your heart, a hockey player with one heck of a .. stick, a detective that plays with magic when he’s not busy breaking Zoe’s heart… and Zoe, sassy, sassy, sweet Zoe, framed for crime she did not commit! Grab your headphones, a nice tall pitcher of something liberally spiked, some snacks, and get ready for a panty melting ride with the wacky gang that inhabits Silver Springs. You will laugh until your sides hurt as you listen to this delightfully written and fantastically narrated reverse harem series opener. I positively cannot wait for the next installment! Five fantastic stars!

Fun and compelling

I have been following the series since book 1 and was excited Mia Harlan had another title coming out. When I got it I thoughat I'd sample and then snuggle in later for a read. Didn't put it down until I finished the last page. Silver Springs is a universe all its own and instantly you want to know more. And there is more...more to Wynter than a fun loving woman, there's love, friendship, a mystery, and some good steamy, sexy times.

love this book

First off I am so glad we are back in Silver Springs I have missed the town like crazy.
I loved Wynter's story. She's not perfect, her mates are not perfect and yet they are perfect together. And I really enjoyed the mystery that was thrown in, because nope I had no clue until the very end who done it.
I can't wait to see what other shannagians are in store from Mia because she always makes me laugh.

omg this book was so funny and cute. I really enjoyed it. I do feel sorry for the theft. but I glad that they found him. because now he'll get the help he needs to take care of his baby. I can't wait to hear the next book in the series.

Great book

This is book 1 of the Silver Skates series. I loved this book!! I thought the narration was great. From the very start I was drawn in and felt like I was there throughout the book. I love the characters and the storyline is very well written. I’m so looking forward to the next book and recommend reading!!

A fun supernatural reverse harem story

Wynter by Mia Harlan is a fun supernatural reverse harem story about how Zoey Wynter, a witch, learns who her mates are after putting on a spelled pair of ice skates. During this time she is also trying to solve a crime spree that seems to link back to herself and her boss.

The narrator did a great job with the different characters throughout the story and conveying emotion throughout.

Loving this world.

After reading Candela, I decided I needed to see more of this town. This one had some interesting supernaturals. I had a hard time finding the ‘ice block shifter’ and ‘eye makeup shifter’ plausible but the rest were really fun.

Some of the scenes that I think are intended to be humorous and some of the innuendos are a bit juvenile but cute—but others did make me smile. This read was an interesting experience; the characters are obviously adults but act and speak like children much of the time. The overall story is really sweet and I’m coming to love this world. It’s fun and seems to be full of characters who are open-minded, so it tends to be refreshing as well. There’s also a cute little mystery throughout.

Overall I’d rate this somewhere between 3 and 4 stars, with lots to love but also a but immature at times.

I listened to the audiobook; this narrator’s voice is adorable, her tones are appropriate and she makes it an easy listen. Great performance!
