Wow!

This a wonderful book. I love the story. True love story with a twist. I love the story of five.

Loved it

Having just finished the Rook & Ronin series I wasn't quite ready to let go of the characters yet, so this book was the perfect solution. I really enjoyed the story and the narrators did a wonderful job bringing Five and Rory to life.

Really Good!

I don't know. I enjoyed the story and the romance.

I am still not quite certain WHY he just cut off talks with his soul mate, though. He never explained to his girl well, either. It just seemed like he put his girl second to everything else. Even though that was explained later, it just wasn't... there in the emotions, I guess. It's like I was a bit disappointed in that part of it.

I can't wait to finish Five's story, though. I'm hoping the ending is as good as I hope it is!

What a story!! Loving Five Aston

Listening about Five in previous previous books and how he was a genius, I just knew there would be a book just about him. What a fabulous book this was. I cannot get enough of these wonderful, amazing people. At this point they are not characters to me. They are real in my head.....I am a truck driver from San Diego and go to Denver ever week. So hearing places I have been to, live at and now deliver to makes the. All the more real to me. Thank you Julie! Keep them coming....you are by far my favorite author in the romantic secret government genres.

Lot’s of plot twists

Really kept me glued to my headset for 2 days had read all the previous Rook and Ronin series.... totally cool!

Five finally

I have been waiting Five and his princess to get their happy ever after for forever. This book didn’t disappoint.

Outstanding

Loved it! Couldn't put it down and when I did I was very disappointed. so happy I could get back to the book.

Rory and Five

I listened to Five with a group of friends. Overall I really enjoyed the story. There was spice, suspense, and I liked the characters. Rory is so much more than you first realize. She is one tough, smart cookie! Five will bring out all your emotions. He can be so sweet and romantic, then immediately say something dumb lol.
Teddy always gives a great performance. I’ve been in my Teddy era for the past 4 months and it’s not ending any time soon.
This is the first time I’ve listened to Anna. I thought she was great too! I like the tone of her voice and the pace, no weird pauses.
Eventually I want to read JA’s back catalog and finish up the Mister series. While her books are standalones, she’s created a huge interconnected universe. I can’t wait to find out how it all goes together!

An Interesting Story

l loved these main characters, Rory and Five, already had a flavor for Five, but Rory is a bad ass girl, she is confident, brave and no nonsense. The ending is realistic, considering the consequences,. Now, it was quite surprising that Chen was a traitor and more surprising that Cliff and Five were partner in the end. Also loved Teddy Hamilton and Anna Riordan performance, the narrators
