I love Feather

I read these books last year and absolutely fell in love with Feather and Mikhail (and Rumple… can’t forget Rumple!). When I saw them on Audible I knew I couldn’t resist. The narrators took a bit to get used to but the female narrator kind of nails what you think Feather would sound like although I kind of wish there was more distinction between her and the other female characters voices. The male narrator has a weird cadence to his voice that sometimes made me think of William Shatner imitating Worf from STNG but it honestly wasn’t too bad (as in I immediately got the second book that he also narrated to listen to after completing this one.) All in all it is easily one of my favorites and will be listened to repeatedly.

Amazing find

It has been a while since I truly enjoyed a book. I loved that it stirred all emotions and wasn’t predictable. It was funny, sad, romantic, and suspenseful. Feather is hilarious and I would definitely be her ride or die birch lol. This is my first book by Merri Bright and it definitely won’t be my last.

Best book I’ve read in awhile

Seriously unique world building and memorable steamy scenes. I laughed out loud many many times.

Book hangover enducing

I always know a really good book when I have a “hangover” after finishing it. This was better than I had hoped. The characters were rich and grew over the story. Looking forward to the next installment!

Interesting

I loved the humor and the different twists in the story. It was interesting how the author chose to tell the story. Different and unique. Very refreshing.

Really enjoyed!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Feather is hilarious and the narrator does a great job with the different emotions of the characters. If you want a laugh out loud RH with great characters and some spice, this is the series for you!

I really enjoyed the story, feather was hilarious. I laughed, I cry, I got sad ,and angry. I want to listen to it again and also I must continue reading the rest of the series.

Re-reading this masterful series

This will be my third time reading this series, but first time reading on audible. This is one of my go to laugh out loud, heartwarming, moving, overall amazing series. If you haven’t read it yet, and love why-choose/fated mates/angel romances with a twist, you’ll love this!

Feather has been forgotten on earth for over four centuries, acting as a guardian angel for her charges and accumulating smut (sins). She is recalled to Sanctuary after completing her last assignment to be purified and examined, for she is not what she seems. While she is in Sanctuary, we see a female who has withstood some terrible moments in her past yet has been able to face them with strength and humor and yet remain selfless through all the pain.

I could not put this book down. Every chapter revealed another layer of Feather’s backstory, and I needed to know more. The book ends in a cliffhanger that makes you want to lightly-stalk Merri Bright on all social media platforms to find out what happens next.

This was a binge listen! The narrators did an amazing job bringing Feather and her men to life. I loved how Growly Bear's voice matched his personality and the emotions the narrators invoked through their performance.

The portrayal of Feather was absolutely wonderful!

So. Freaking! Good!!

Oh my God was it good and fun. The female Narrator was amazaballs, the male narrator made me laugh, he was so dramatic. Mid book he's sort of too fast, and I had to slow the speed down to .8 and at other points .9 or .95. Sorta like there wasn't enough time between sentences.
But Feather? She is pure glory, and I love the way she was written and narrated. I am absolutely getting the next book!
