Publisher's summary

Some monsters just need to be tamed.

The Dark Wolf God was a monster of legend—a shifter so powerful that he could lay waste to the world and make alphas bow before him. I didn’t believe he was real. Then four weeks ago, he attacked my pack and nearly ended my life.

Now he’s claimed me.

When a war with the fae threatens his realm, he tears me from my world and makes me his captive. He believes I have the power to free him from a curse, but unless I figure out what kind of magic I have, he’ll never let me go. He’s my enemy, but there’s no denying the heat between us or the bond that ties us together.

Should I defy the monster, or could the man behind the beast be redeemed?

If you love alpha heroes with dark souls, tortured pasts, and an obsession with the woman who could bring them to their knees, sink your teeth into this enemies-to-lovers paranormal/fantasy romance.

Wolf God: Samantha & Cadean, Book 1 of 3

This is part 1 of a dual-POV, slow-burn romance with an HEA in Book 3 and increasing steam. It is a standalone series. However, if you want to learn more about the events that gave rise to this story, you can sink your teeth into the completed Wolf Bound series.

Love the Story Line

I will admit it's slow starting however it goes off of the Wolf Bound series first and I loved Samantha in that series. She does seem a bit more docile in this one which I don't like. I love the kick A** take names later from the series before and hoping with the next book she starts to find that again. I don't trust whom she left with at the end of this and thinking Fang is going to be the one to help her out of this next mess. Honestly I cannot wait for the next book so crying I have to wait till May to read it but than I would be antsy for the next one until done with the whole series so.

Samantha can kick some butt cannot wait till she finds that part of herself again, fingers crossed.

A Refreshing Heroine and a Story Off the Usual Beat

This story was initially put in my library for less "plot" related reasons if you catch my drift. So imagine my surprise when I put it on and can't put it down. The plot follows a pace most stories don't, and I never knew what was going to happen next. Additionally, while I've seen a few reviews complaining that they didn't like the FMC I really can't relate. I thought she was refreshingly unique, and while I'm nothing like her I also found myself constantly relating to her. In her situation, her choices make way more sense than for those of us stuck in the real world.

Give it a real chance, please! Also, the male narrator for this book is 🫠

meh

honestly the female lead was annoyingly written. I literally wanted to smack her for being so childish and dumb. It could have been a better book if she used common sense. The rest of the book was slightly vague with holes in the story.
