I have enjoyed the first couple of books in this series
I like the FMC, strength with compassion, she's stubborn but most of the time she's rational. what I am a bit disappointed about is the romance arc with the main characters. it started out quick and kept me interested in what's happening between them, but as soon as the spice goes all the way, the author sums up the romantic experiences between main characters in one sentence. The author doesn't go into the intimacy or if the bond between the characters snap into place, or what it means to really be fated mates. It's almost like the romantic relationship is an afterthought instead of one if the main story lines. It's just strange that the author goes into detail about their kissing, with narrative to what the MC is feeling, and at the point that we're all waiting for she just states what happened without emotion or description. I don't need every detail, but I do think a deeper description connects reader to character.

At least this wasn't same story as the others.
Unfortunately this is the best of the series. All the other were basically the same exact story plot and it got predictable. This one did do differently. good thing I got the book series for one credit instead of having to waste money.
