Who were these people?
The woman is from Connecticut but the narrator has a Canadian accent? The guy is from LI but grew up in Tennessee..has a southern accent..kind of. Goth girl and howdy doody…and a lot of talk about his bubble but—and it isn’t just muscle—it’s fat. But the rest of him is all muscly?
It was just hard to get over narrators accents and the unlikely connection.

Great story once I was able to get through the cringe-worthy southern accent.

Big hug of a book
Almost gave this one a miss after reading some comments about the narration, but it’s Tessa B so I went for it. Glad I did because (as a Tennessean) I’d say they just about nailed it. A little over the top but in a charming way.
A Ted Lasso type + a lovable ex con. So good.

Absolutely Loved it!!
A feel good story with a great plot and good writing. This book was such a perfect mix of romance, spice, unconditional love, forgiveness, hope and everything that makes a story good. It left me feeling so light and fluffy and I just love it!
