Publisher's summary

Reese dreams of seeing her name in lights on Broadway, but so far she has only graced the used car parking lots of rural Wisconsin.

With her window of opportunity shrinking fast, a miracle happens. She wins an audition with Bernard Bexley, Broadway’s most respected dance choreographer. When disaster strikes and Reese misses the audition, she has to find another way in front of Bernard, otherwise face the disappointment back home.

Following the sage advice of a Times Square Pikachu—Reese seeks out Bernard’s son, prepared to beg for his aid, never expecting mega sparks to fly between her and the gentle giant baker. With Reese’s heart now involved, she refuses to use Leo to her advantage and tries to walk away before her ulterior motives are exposed, but gravity continues to draw them back together…until it’s impossible to stay apart.

But Reese’s lie of omission can only stay buried for so long. When Leo finds out how their relationship started, will Reese keep her ultimate role as Leo’s leading lady? Or will the curtain fall on their real-life fairytale?

A fun quick listen

I love Tessa Bailey, her books never disappoint. This one is no exception. I like to listen on 2X speed so finishing this one in a few hours was perfect. It was very predictable, which is what I love in my rom-coms! Both characters were fun to listen to their growth, perfect amount of spice!

Really sweet

I enjoyed the Sweetest Fix. It was vintage Tessa Bailey, the right amount of spice and a swoony male character. Reese was a little harder to like just because she was a little whiny and wishy washy for my taste. Overall, this was a great, fast, fun romance book.

One of my new faves

I don't want to spoil anything. I will say, it's a great story and this art form is not appreciated as much as it should be. Tessa is a freaking treasure.

Cute story

I enjoyed the predictability of the storyline sort of Beauty and the Beast meets shamelessly unfortunate LOL I won't spoil the plot for anyone. But it's clear of what the solution should be. And the story shows just how complex we humans can make the simplest of things and yet love conquers all. Great story

A great listen!

The narrators do a great job bringing these characters to life, and I really enjoyed that. I find Reese to be a little annoying at times, and I am sad about how the author chose to represent a plus size male main character. His constant worry about how others see him instead of owning his body is not great fat rep, in this day and age.

Hot and Sweet

I didn’t like when they used the Lord’s name in vain, ie Jesus and Christ. Otherwise it was very enjoyable. It was the best book I’ve read, maybe ever.
