Fair to Middling

Narrator is pretty good. Slogged through the entire series, some parts were decent, overall it's far too long for the many plot holes and outlandish scenarios. Felt like young adult fiction.

Very solid good end of the World Series.

I have read a lot of apocalypse series, so many just lose the plot or lose interest. I can say this one keeps you hooked all the way through. Good, fun read!!!

DNF

Only made it thru book one. The story idea itself isn't bad, it just feels juvenile.

Stormy weather indeed!

This book was exciting, at times extremely fast paced, with very enjoyable characters. However, like an extremely rich dessert…….. sometimes too much can spoil things. This series had so much stuffed in it that I think storylines which could have best been
explored in another series. I would definitely read another book by these two authors.

Really Loved this series !!!

I couldn’t believe that each book was better than the book before. Just loved the characters and by the 5 book I felt as if I knew them all personally. I think I liked Sara the best but loved the parts of the story where Jake was in Boston. I live just 30 minutes from there and could relate to the people and surroundings. Also loved the narrator and his reading of the book. He is really good and I plan on finding more books that he has read. Audiobooks are wonderful for people like myself who have reading difficulties. Having Dyslexia has put a damper in my reading in the past. But now

very cringy

story has very good potential but it's like it's written by a liberal millennial who went to great lengths to be supper politically correct and not offend anyone. dialog is super unrealistic and cringy at times. there's no curse words at all and its very impersonal. characters will make a joke, then explain the joke, and then apologize for making a joke that might have offended the other person. every gun that comes up is nauseatingly described as being checked, not chambered, and a whole back ground in the person saying how much safety training and experience they have with guns. the son apparently has had extensive training and experience with a shotgun but when given one to protect the home, the mother makes this huge speech about how she knows he's had training, experience, how to handle it, and when to use it, and making sure it's put up and unloaded and out of reach until he needs it, which totally negates its use.. I've paid for it so I'm just trudging my way through.
