Great narrator. Hard to find ones who can grab your attention instead of spacing off. Great story Zach!!

Sometimes a little to repetitious. One problem after another. No down time in between problems.

I Loved This Series!

This was my first journey into Bohannon’s post-apocalyptic world and I thoroughly enjoyed it! This audiobook collection starts fast and keeps the high-pace throughout. The narrator for the story perfectly (I listened at 1.2 speed and it sounded natural), covering male and female roles with ease. Zombies, a likable yet rough around the edges MC, and a diverse cast of characters added dimension to this series that’s sadly missing in so many others these days. A great listen/read!

Sounds like 10th grade creative writing assignment

I’ve paid for it so I’ll finish it, but it’s seriously not good. The main character is pathetic when compared to other similar stories. And the overt and juvenile use of gore to express what’s happening gets old fast. Overall it’s ok if you are into this sort of thing. But I wouldn’t buy again if I could go back.

would not recommend!

sorry will not elaborate on books that the author did not take their time to actually write a book. MC always feeling sorry for himself and tough guy attitude that breaks the second someone tests it really sad. also so many pointless kidnapping and torture for questions that not one person would ever try and keep secret let alone be tortured for the information really. started off slow and never got better. do not waste a credit even for all of these books not worth it.

Well established characters and realistic human behaviors good and bad.

As a zombie story aficionado, I consume everything zombie and apocalypse related, and this story does not disappoint. All books are well written. The characters are well-developed and the human behavior the way people go crazy and crazy times, and the way people come together and crazy times is actually really not too far out there from what I’ve seen in a few Third World countries while in service.

John South

my first book to have a John and a Carrie married. (my husband is a John.) too bad Carrie didn't make it very far. I enjoyed John's perseverance.

Great FU**ING Series

This book series was amazing from start to finish. I’m giving it a 4.5 only because I hated how Brook started out so strong but ended up being weak and depressing. I understand the issues she went through but damn keep the lady strong and Bad Ass. But overall this rocked. An amazing read.

Well read, poorly written.

The narrator does a very good job of reading the material.

However, I find the story to be very cliche and unoriginal. I'm completely unable to relate to the character and find most of his conduct to be confusing, counterproductive, and hypocritical of his own morals. I'm 45 minutes in and can go no further.

Lacking

The story had very little pull, all the characters felt barren and hollow. The story felt like nothing more than just checking boxes off on a list of events. logic falls short on every character, the more I listen the more it annoys me.
