cute and homely

Easy and fun listen. Minus two or three curse words, appropriate for a family. Would recommend especially for a background story when you're doing chores or whatnot.

Good story

Good character development, enjoyed the twists and turns. I think this one was better than the last one.

Love the series and narration!!!

I enjoyed this series so much that I binged books 1-4. I was so sad when I got to book 5 and realized the narrator changed. I really enjoyed Amy Melissa Bentley’s different Southern accents and became accustomed to them. The narrator for the following books has lost my interest. I purchased books 5 and 6 before I realized that I would not be hearing Amy’s voice again. I will listen through 6 but will probably stop there. Disappointing:(

need more than 1 narrater for differen characters

need more than 1 narraters for the different characters it had to know who's talking. but she is great. just think it would help

A little slow

Was entertaining but could have been more quick at the up take. Knew what was going to happen before it did.

The story is smooth and suspenseful. Hooked on these stories. In highly recommend you start this series

A strong finish

I know there are more books in this series. The narrator changes after this book and this was the last book available in the plus catalog at this time.
There's also a couple of years between when the first four books were published and when the fifth book was published.

This book introduces us to a new character and a new element, the Defenders of Light, a kind of police force for witches kinda thing. I enjoyed the story and was glad to see the hint of a blossoming romance with side characters. I usually don't see that in the books. A lot of times the romance is between the main characters and we don't really see anything with the secondary characters.

I have been enjoying this series and plan to pick up book five in a couple of weeks after taking a break from this series so the change in narrators won't be so jarring on my senses.

Great Series!

The author is one of the best I have come across in quite some time. The story plots and characters are captivating and intriguing making it easy to transform the words into a movie playing in the imagination. This series has just the right amount of thrill, suspense, drama, intrigue, emotion, and supernatural highlights that are perfectly paired with the eloquence and charm of the character’s roles. The story line changes in each of the books in this series but come together amazingly well keeping the reader wanting more . The narrator also did such an amazing job in bringing each character to life. They are definite page turners! Either in audio format or paperback, I highly recommend this series.
