I love a wholesome story and this is it. interesting storyline. The narrator has a beautiful voice.

This book was sit on the edge of your seat exciting from beginning to end. Very moving story. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My Musings

Wow, just wow! What a fantastic book! I loved, loved the characters so much. The hero and heroine are such humble individuals. They stole my heart from the beginning. I’m so thrilled they were able to find their happy ending! This book is the reason why I enjoy Amish fiction. Also, the narrator is outstanding and truly brought the characters to life. Happy reading/listening!

Wonderful Story

This was a wonderful story of love. The author was so creative. She showed great care and compassion for each character.

Beautiful Story

I loved this book ! The storyline was new and fresh. I also am from Kansas and my hometown was mentioned and where my daughter lives and where my best friend lives that was so fun hearing that. Yoder is a Amish town and is about 15 minutes from where I live. I recommend this book. The narrator needs a little practice but she did pretty good as well.

Wonderful story

I loved this story. The story held my interest from the first chapter, and the author used no unnecessary filler. A great book.

I would have liked to give this narrator 5 stars for her great job acting with deep emotion in the appropriate areas. She needs some work on her male voices, and it’s peculiar to me that they would use the worst male voice for the main male character. It sounded like someone whose voice was hoarse from a cold, and she spoke it in monitone, which detracted greatly from the interesting character. She also tends to speak with a bit of a staccato cadence. The strength of the story carried my interest though, and I would recommend it because of that.

Relaxing story and entertaining with thoughtful insights into people, loving other people.
Enjoyed Laura’s sister as a sidekick .
Enjoy the surprise ending.

For narration: everything fine, except for Joshua’s voice. I think it’s OK to sound higher register and talk normally. Did not care for the low voice, and sounding like he was under the weather.

The Wish

I am starting out on my review to say the only negative I can give is the male narration of Caleb. Everyone else is very well done. When the Audio books are read, I wish more attention is given to the choice by the author in choosing the participant that will be speaking all the parts, male and female.
“The Wish” story is so well written, from the very beginning to the very end, not knowing how it will be finished. Anyone reading this, I do hope this helps in your decision to read this or not. These Amish stories are so informative teaching the background. The only thing it did not tell was the actual year that it was written about.
