Phenomenal
It's unreal that college she students had the bravery and intelligence to know what was happening was wrong and therefore do something about it. They died having had the privilege of living through the war and just holding their heads down. But they chose instead to take a stand. The part where the narrator reads as Hans and Sofie are about to be caught was amazing. I felt that I was the one being chased. They have not died in vain if we continue to share their story.

Well written and well narrated story of young men and women with the courage to begin a quiet resistance movement against Hitler's cruel regime. Young people who knew that silence was the same as complicity with the tyranny of Nazi rule.

Lame title, great book!
The title gave me the impression this would be a “B level,” budget book, but I was wrong and really enjoyed the telling of this important story!
