Publisher's summary

Finding my husband in bed with another woman was not how I planned to start my day.

Or homeless the next minute. And broke.

So, when a job comes my way from The Twilight Hotel—a paranormal hotel in midtown Manhattan that serves as a sanctuary and residence—I take it.

Cue in tattooed, sexy as sin, grumpy restaurant owner Valen who can’t do drama or high-maintenance women. The problem? He’s cruel and dangerous.

And he’s hiding something.

Rumors arise of a dark spell that would mean the hotel's closure, and I don’t know who I can trust. Do I have what it takes to fight this new evil? We’ll see.

Brace yourselves. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.

The Starlight Witch is perfect for fans of urban fantasy, mystery, slow-burn romance, and humor. Get ready for this heart-pounding and laugh-out-loud magical adventure!

not bad

narrator is pretty good. story line could be a bit better. it's a bit predictable.. but it was easy to follow. the main characters are very likable.

Pleasantly Unexpected

I thought this book would be like all the other short books and jump instantly into being a romance novel period however, it was very surprising. The story was great and engaging from the very beginning, and there was quite a bit of humor in the writing that the narrator was able to really exploit in this book. I will be reading the next one..

Love the characters and the fresh story line

I have been looking for another author and series to listen to. This one hit the spot! Loving the characters. The relatable feels and life choices are fun. The story line in this book was warm. The mystery was a little hard to figure out …maybe I’ll pick up in the clues in a second listen.

Not worth your time

This has all the hallmarks of a good fantasy series, a strong female lead, magic and mayhem, murders, and a hot mysterious man. But the writing character development and slap dash “investigation” is so incompetent that it’s painful to listen to. The narrator is fine but her voices for male characters are incredibly unrealistic and not distinguishable from the regular narration or female characters.
