Publisher's summary

Forget everything you know about reality. The quantum world doesn't play by those rules.

Daniel Rice is a government science investigator whose specialty is solving seemingly intractable problems through scientific inquiry.

But Daniel's intellectual strength is sorely tested by the bizarre realities he finds in the quantum world. Extra dimensions of space trap the unwary, probability replaces cause and effect, and time isn't what anyone imagined. The other side of the mirror is a place full of dangers, but it's also somewhere a dedicated scientist can uncover secrets that connect humans with something greater.

Outstanding - lots of science

Yep this one has a ton of science along with good explanation of the possible. A worthy read. At times it gets a little bogged down in the science but when the explanations complete the story moves well into the future. Very good performance by the speakers/readers. Looking forward to more audible entries from this author and narrators.

Great Series! Book 1 was the best.

over all great story. I did not like how the narrator changed in each book.

Exceptionally entertaining, yet totally believable

I absolutely loved these books, especially the last one in the series. Everything is believable, and yet so fantastic. True sci-fi with lots of detail, that leaves you craving to explore the world of science and what could come of it. The afterword, where author explains what is real and what is fiction, leaves you satisfied

Makes you think

I have several physicists in my life - none of which explain these theories well - and certainly not so entertainingly.

Thanks for writing this. Food for thought.

best treatment of time travel I've experienced

I greatly enjoyed the story and the author did a fantastic job incorporating known science into a plausible future. I typically don't enjoy stories that use time travel as it's difficult to appreciate any tension when characters can simply undo everything and most limitations or rules placed on time travel feel as hoc and shoe horned in to make the story work. this author has done a lot of work justifying the limits of time travel in his world. I especially liked the afterwords at the end of each book in this series wherein the author reveals how well the science in his story aligns with current understanding and which elements were fabricated. this is an element I hope other authors of science fiction emulate.

Love the Science, Sci-fi, but…

As a fan of science and sci-fi, I was enthralled by the intricate concepts explored throughout the series. Phillips' ability to blend scientific theory with compelling storytelling kept me engaged from start to finish.

However, it's important to note that amidst the brilliance of the science fiction elements, there were instances where the author's portrayal of certain groups, such as the USA, Christians, and the military, seemed to carry a tone of passive-aggressive disdain. This aspect was particularly noticeable in "Quantum Time" and detracted somewhat from the overall enjoyment of the series.

Despite this drawback, I found "The Quantum Series" to be a compelling read overall. The exploration of complex scientific concepts combined with imaginative storytelling made for an unforgettable journey. If you're able to overlook the occasional biases, there's much to appreciate in this series.

overall great

I loved the intelligently written science, the great imagination, the stories were all good and fun.. believable. the ONLY complaint is the narrator of the first book was... not great. annoying to me.. I ALMOST quit the book because of it.. fortunately, I stayed with it because the STORY was good enough to keep me, and I'm glad I did. all other book narration was good, and the stories were fun and incredibly engaging for science educated lovers like me.

Mind that you don't skip each ending as the author explains the real science behind the stories. Very informative and educational.
