A survivor of trials and traumas, Maggie has developed a philosophy that strength and resilience can be found with open, honest, and authentic communication, solution-finding - and decisive action.

Today, Maggie speaks, writes, trains, and advises individuals on achieving more and transcending the boundaries of their own perception. This isn't a “how to” or “10 steps to success” handbook to take you superficially from zero to hero. It's an inspiring guide to help you find your voice, stop playing small, and step into your greatness, both personally and professionally.

“Inside each of us is a well of infinite fire waiting to be ignited. May you find that spark and surround yourself with those who fan your flames.” (Maggie Jacobs)

This is a great read

I highly recommend this book to all administrative professionals and those who are not in the profession. Maggie has a inspirational and honest story that we can all learn from.

This was more of a personal story rather than a check off list on how to strengthen your muscle as an EA

I had hoped to get more insight on actual steps on how to be a stronger and more effective E.A. I believe there’s always room for strengthening our muscle in our role however this book is more of a story about the authors personal journey, it’s not so much of a blueprint for all EA’s to follow on how to get from A to Z.

I’m very impressed

I really am very impressed! I've been an executive assistant for a long time and I've read many books in this genre. Usually, I'll get some good pointers or helpful reminders of things I once learned but had forgotten. This book had all of that but also really great advice and excellent examples of how Maggy has put her words into action. Not only that, but the story was very entertaining to boot. If you are an EA, I highly recommend you read this book.

Maggie’s book is a must have for any Executive Assistant wanting to level-up, re-engage and get inspired or if you are just starting out! Her transparency is refreshing and her tips and suggestions to help all of us in the EA field are tremendous! Highly recommend!

Content good

The content is good and insightful. I got the audio version and it felt like listening to an AI. Please have this re-read by someone, or someone else, it'll be more impactful. The AI story telling took away from the content.

Impactful

I met Maggie last month at an EA event hosted by Jeremy Burrows, where she spoke about her experience as an EA. Thanks when I found out about her book!

I have many great nuggets to use I my everyday life as an EA. A mission statement for myself!? Ok! Done added it to my LinkedIn page!

Thanks Maggie!

Self-empowerment for Assistants

Maggie’s message in The Elevated EA is open-hearted and powerful. Her honed communication skills are reflected in this powerful guide. It is an intimate portrait of her personal journey and a poignant reminder of all the possibilities available to us if we can dig deep and believe in our own capabilities. This book is chock full of excellent resources for every level of Assistant. I recommend it to those just starting to explore the role, those paralyzed in their current position, or, like me, those looking to build up their confidence and take the next step.

Sounded like a computer generated voice

I had a very hard time listening to this book due to the reader's voice. This sounded as if they either sped up or slowed down her voice and it ended up sounding like a computer. It was extremely annoying. I found the story very repetitive and not a lot of great concrete tips as to how to be a successful EA.

More of a personal story

I was super disappointed- was looking for key highlights and points that I could use in my day to day. Her “influences” were disappointing as well.
