Love this book
I found this book while walk in target it’s the first book I chose to read ever and I honestly couldn’t put it down I read it twice before coming on here and I wanted to learn some of the words I didn’t know and this app helped with that and now I have to listen to this book every night or I can’t sleep

my opinion
I really loved this book. This book actually caught my attention since I'm not really into books. I really like hearing about crime stories, and the suspense was pretty predictable. Though it's not a bad thing. I had a gut feeling I knew who was the murderer at the end as it was hinted by the way he was acting like everything was coming to a close. 5/5 stars for me.

Is this a YA book?
Ignore me if this is actually a YA book and I didn’t realize, but this is the most juvenile ridiculous story I have listened to in a long time. The characters talk like they are in some kind of afterschool special, the back stories of the characters are utterly ridiculous, and it is so far-fetched that a single high school student is running around, trying to solve a murder of a faculty member… I could go on and on…
The performance by the narrator is even worse, though. Half the time the characters sound like they are Simpsons characters with ridiculous accents and intonations and voice inflections, and the other half of the time the narrator sounds like he is warbling dentures around in his mouth. It got so bad that I was literally just fast forwarding every 30 seconds for the last 45 minutes…
Worst waste of a credit.

Meh
Parts of it are OK but it feels pretty contrived. It feels like it wants to be a scary movie for teens but doesn’t actually get too dark. All the characters felt like cardboard cut outs not real people.
