All emotions Experienced

I cried through the first few chapters, stopped crying through many, and smiled through the rest. The story was a tad predictable but so well written I didn’t mind. I was sorry to have the novel end; I look forward to more novels by Jennifer Ryan read by Brittany Presley!

Refreshing new story nothing I’ve read before and couldn’t stop!

My favorite narrator Brittany Presley influenced this purchase. I couldn’t stop! Plot twists, mystery, action, deception, romance!! Jennifer Ryan includes it all. I will be looking into more books by Jennifer Ryan and hopefully they are all just as entertaining! This book could be a movie!! Love it! Highly recommended. I am putting it on the read list for my book club.

This kept me listening almost nonstop

I thoroughly loved this book and the narration was amazing. I was in awe of the heroine who really walked the walk and not just the talk. She exemplified true Christianity as it was intended rather than as it can often be exploited. This is the second book by this author that I have listened to and it definitely won’t be the last. It felt real and with some of the subject matter that is very sad. It’s obviously fiction, but some people act a lot like many of the characters in the book. Here’s to more Evangelines in real life. 5 stars

An intriguing story with amazing characters. Great narration made this a very enjoyable listen. Definitely a recommended read.

Wonderfully written Jennifer Ryan. My first book by you. Awesome narration Brittany Pressley. I could not stop and I wanted more. Family dynamics, unjust turned into reward and family coming back together and finally true love. Love Love Love this book

Run girl! Too perfect.

The idea of the story line was good. There could been some guts to the story, but turns out it was sappy and overly perfect. I found myself making fun of it pretty often. And can I just say, RUN away from Chris girl!! He's a piece of work!

Turned into too much of a love story for my taste. There's a subtle way to fold that into stories without it taking over. "Sweetheart" was used beyond a normal amount of times. Just had to skip the last 45 minutes and be done with it.

Interesting story

Great characters, easy to listen and not get lost on who's who. Great story, I could have kept on listening!
