This is a beautifully written story.
This tale begins with a simple woman, existing in a somewhat drab life. The book expands and blooms like a maple tree into a many-faceted story with colorful, extraordinary characters!

I loved the narration. And the story crept up on me a little at a time.
I liked the fact that a mystery was built into the story, with clues being revealed piece by piece. Mrs B was a great more revealing than Janice, as Janice had a great deal of guilt to relieve herself from. All in all, it was a totally different and better story than I was prepared for.

Highly Recommended!
Such a wonderful story if you let the depth of the characters sink into your heart. I was touched by this book and was sad to see it end. Delightful listen!

Beautiful Ending
This story started so slowly that I almost put it down and gave up. I'm so very glad that I didn't. Such a charming collection of stories within a group of rather sad stories that all work out well in the end.

Absolutely delightful!
Loved this book. Story was very engaging and the narrator was wonderful. I stumbled on this book by accident and am so glad I did. The characters were so well developed. Very entertaining.
