She made me sad the story was over. Love The Double D Doughnut Shop! We have our own in my small town of Townsend Mt. called The Mountie Moose, got to get there early are they are all gone!

Almost
I chose this book because I am from the San Antonio area and know Devine. I enjoyed the light and easy summer “read” vibe. My only criticism is, why when the narrator worked so hard to sound southern would she choose to say ‘chaise lounge’ with a French inflection? I can assure you no one in Texas would say it like she did!

Always a good book!
There is nothing like having a comfortable chair, A good hot cup of coffee for tea And I Carolyn Brown book. Change my favorite Author I have read To I think every book she has every published. Keep writing and will keep buying audio books.

My Musings
Another delightful novel by the talented Carolyn Brown. I loved this town, the characters and the doughnut shop! I’m so glad I found this in Kindle Unlimited with the audio. The narrator is perfect for this book. Happy reading and listening!
