Hated to have it end

Absolutely loved this series!… and the one before it, which was The Spoken Mage. Though presumably written for a young adult audience, I found it very appealing as an adult and loved the narrator voice

It gets good in book 3

The story starts off a little slow, book 3 kept me going and I knew I had to finish the series. Good for a young teen but could have been 1 book total.

Excellent series and great narration!

Love the series and it’s predecessor series and companion novel. The narrator does a great job too. Only issue is chapter 89 (chapter 3 in book 4) is out of order. It goes from 88 to 90 then back to 89, then to 91 and continuing in the right order after that. So be sure to skip forward then back as you listen, otherwise it’s very confusing.

Enjoyable story

An enjoyable story. I actually like this series more than the Spoken Mage series. Definitely would recommend for a clean fun read
