To Voodoo's surprise, he soon finds himself on the front lines of an AI arms race with the future of freedom at stake. Will Voodoo find the scientists in time? Or will the "God Algorithm", a piece of code so terrifying it has the potential to shift global power, fall into the wrong hands? Find out in this mind-bending, relentlessly paced techno thriller sure to please fans of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and Jack Carr's James Reece.

Great read with a new main character genre

If you like Tom Clancy novels or Jack Carr's Terminal List series, you'll love The Hawk Enigma.

Very refreshing to read/listen to a new genre of main character. Voodoo the "enabler" is a shot of adrenaline with all the tech skills that go so underappreciated in the military and war thriller genres.

Hopefully the author continues to write and offer more Voodoo type characters to the genre!

Great story from start to finish. easy to listen to and keeps you hooked the whole time.

Gripping and insightful story

I enjoyed reading this book. The plot was intriguing. It dealt with the hardships of war and the mental struggles of our military personnel while still bringing a real scenario to life. It gave me greater appreciation for the hard work and sacrifice to our military. The action, characters and plot will drive you to finish this book and want more. I hope there is a sequel in the works.

Modern technology

Is this the direction military tech is going? Cool and scary. Great listen. Would love to see on the big screen.

Delightfully complex

It's a bit like a party. "Sci-fi", meet "Fate". "Complex", meet "Everything comes together""Action-adventure", meet "Sincere personal struggle". My only regret is not getting the hard copy. There are times when you want to flip back a couple of chapters and go "Oh man, now it makes sense!" Excuse me while I go and start it again...
