I couldn’t stand brook she was selfish & she thinks everything should be about her ugh!.. she never put the child needs first, it was about what broook was feeling.. I did enjoy him tho & he was a great father, it sucks he wanted to quit football at the end tho. When he has his family in one city

Amazing story fouled by bad narration
I want to write a stellar review but I just can’t. Although it is a great story, with a new perspective on the whole sports romance, it was very hard to get through with the narration. Elizabeth Hart sounded like she was reading with a mouth guard or retainer in her mouth. It’s very distracting. As for the male lead, if he had just read at normal speed it would have been just fine, but when he reads so slow, it makes him sound like country surfer high as a kite the entire book. Please authors choose your narrators better.
The story was very touching and if you have the choice read it instead of listening to it.
