good strategy to a healthier life

I recently had to hit the reset button due to health problems such as detached retina and type 2 pre-diabetes. I think it would be best if a bunch of people tried this diet and saw how much it could change their lives but most people don't ever get that serious about their health. Being a prediabetic you have to pay attention to what you're eating and that has paid off handsomely.

Changing your diet with this book will also help with so many other health issues that it's hard not to subscribe to what Dr Perlmutter is saying.

Reading Recommended over Audio

Great content. Looking forward to starting plan. Distracting narration sounded like Rod Sterling (Twilight Zone).

Love the content, but....

Where does The Grain Brain Whole Life Plan rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Compared to other books about nutrition, this is one of my favorites.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Peter Ganim?

The absolute worst part of this audio book is the narrator. Peter Ganim is brutal. At times it is hard to stay awake as he is the most monotone narrator I have ever heard.

Not sure how to obtain the PDF?

Great book! I've been GF for 15 years and have also suffered from RA for the same amount of time. I look forward to some relief with cutting the carbs:) as I feel like I have tried everything!

Great book and inspired for health

I really like how detailed this audiobook it's despite it being a whole life plan that you would essentially think should be written down. Of course it is written down on their website. But I really enjoyed how you could follow along very easily and that I could be inspired immediately to take action of by the simple steps in the recipe lists and ingredient list that they list. I really think this information is innovative and going to help a lot.

Informed

Even though this is technically outdated information because it’s from 2016 it’s not there’s so many things about any clean eating fresh that we need to incorporate an essay health coach in nutritionist I am going to recommend this book for all my clients

You will change your life

The science of how your body responds to different foods is covered well here. I have done low carb previously with good results.

Recently, I had been battling Asthma (which hasn't plagued me since childhood), and using two inhalers daily. I had been eating out and consuming processed foods extensively. This book inspired me to revisit a low carb lifestyle.

Within a few days of low carb and grain free eating I no longer felt the need for an inhaler. The inflammatory response of my body to grains, was apparently worse than I had previously understood. Each day gets better, and I feel wonderful.

This book could change your life, as it has already done so for mine.
