This book was intense

I liked how it all turned out. The first part was hard to listen to. It left me thinking of all the ways it could go so I had to listen to the end

Suspense, emotional, sad

This book was my first by this author. I enjoyed it but did not expect several things. The beginning was hard and I thought the main character could have more going on in later years but it wasn’t clear.

Why?

I was enjoying the book with plans to give it a nice review and then I get to the ending. Why? Why does everyone feel the need to end with the perverse? It’s why I stuck to novels written in the days when people were creative and wholesome. Why?

Triggers

Major newborn triggers. I couldn't stomach to read anymore. It might have had a good ending but I will never get there.
