I'm glad the 2nd book brought things closer to the end. The twists and turns were good. Some are a bit predictable even. But it still kept my attention, and the spicy scenes were definitely helpful with that. It's also aggravating cause Sam needs to make up his damn mind!! Let Cleo go or don't! Instead of murdering people from jealousy as entertaining as it is.
It started to lose my focus, though around chapter 43/44. It seemed like 1 phrase was being repeated by all the characters for a good 3 minutes. We get it she's the morningstar they will die for her. They need her, and she needs them.
The book was good. The narrator was good as always, but i really love Sam's voice! Perfect fit for my imagination.
Overall, we go from book 1 of Cleo not listening to him because he doesn't tell her everything. To her doing what he tells her along with everyone else. He gets jealous commits treason confirms he wants her in both forms, then denies it. Over and over until the end.

I can't wait for the next one

This was great and I am REALLY looking forward to the next one. As soon as it's on Audible I am getting it. Avery has done an amazing job narrating both stories!

Spicy and Exciting

I started this book with my morning cup of tea and then I couldn't bring myself to press pause. I got hooked on book one and I just needed to know what happened with Cleo and Samael.

Romantasy Hidden Gem

This story is well written, narrated, adventurous and is addicting to listen to. I can't get enough of these characters and always leaves me wanting more. I read both books in 4 days and am hungry for book 3

Captivating

This book was captivating from beginning to end! Highly recommend. I loved the story between Sam and Cleo. Although Cleo’s hard headed was frustrating at times. I really enjoyed the story and looking forward to a 3rd book.
