Although some of the characters have similar characteristics as characters from her past series, this world is very different from her previous worlds.

Be advised that there is graphic sexual encounters and descriptive violence. There are also elements of a D/s type relationship, although the s partner is only so during intimate scenes.

There are definitely interesting characters and some are also mentally shaky.

All and all, I think this will an entertaining series and I’m looking forward to the release of the next book!

I love all of Ms. Wright's paranormal romance books and this book was no exception. This reminds me alot of her "Dark in You", series which she has just completed. This new series time period seems more otherworldly and less contemporary than her other books. You have your usual paranormal characters such as witches, shifters, angels, and demons. There's laugh out loud scenes, mystery, revenge, family, friends and romance/sex scenes. It starts kind of slow, but the big battle fight was epic. The narrator Cat Doucette was perfect as usuaI. I think it's worth a credit, but I'm a die hard fan!

This book didn’t not disappoint! I can’t wait for the next book to come out! I absolutely adore Wynter and her coven, I mean crew!

Wicked funny new series

Just when you think the stories have ended Suzanne ropes you into another set of folks that have you hooked. I loved the story between Cain and Wynter. She was a good match for him on multiple levels. I liked that it wasn’t a case of insta-love but slowly peeling back the layers of each other to discover even more beneath the attraction. But I have to say that my favorite parts of this story surrounds Wynter’s “coven”. They were hilarious. Like laugh out loud funny. I loved their every interaction. Cat Doucette gave them each a distinctive voice that made you “see” every character. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

The wicked in me

I wasn’t sure about this book based on the reviews. I’m glad I took a chance it was a good book very entertaining. Just like every book it has slow moments but overall I liked the story line I can’t wait for part 2. The more you listen the better u understand the characters and where the book is going . Yes there is a cliff hanger but nothing to shocking.

Great new series.

This book was so good! I am a huge fan of Suzanne Wright, and this book did not disappoint. Wynter was an amazing character. Her level of self awareness is something everyone should hope for. She is strong, brave, fierce, and protective. Cain on the other hand is a total enigma. He is confident, controlling ( not in a over the top way) and driven. I love that even though they are instantly attracted to each other and their chemistry is crazy they don’t fall in love immediately. Actually by the end of the book neither has realize the depth of their feelings yet. As if the main characters aren’t a good enough reason to read this book the side characters definitely are. This is the biggest group of crazy individuals I have ever read. And that is saying something. Each character is so different but go together so well. I just can’t wait for the next book. Please hurry

I couldn't stop listening!

Just like every other book by Suzanne Wright, I could not put it down! (Couldn't stop listening) I love listening to Cat Doucette as well. she does such a wonderful job. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

I’ve really enjoyed this FMC. She’s so independent and strong with a side of romance and fun. This was my second time listening to the book and I’m keeping my fingers crossed the next one will be available soon. Love all of Suzanne Wright’s books.

Great start to a new world

A favorite author that never disappoints. She is starting a new series with this book. I will keep an eye out for the next. No cliffhangers, and great start. Highly recommended.
