Publisher's summary

A life for a life.

The family has one motto and a list of rules.

The family isn't something you join. You can only be born into it.

The family is mine. I am the family's.

Until I see her.

She doesn't see me.

But, I must have her.

I need to own her.

Once in a while a reader finds an awesome romance book. That is just what this book is, AWESOME. Thank you.

Yikes

I very rarely dnf books and even more rarely do I return them but I’m doing both with this one. Dark romance is one thing, straight up misogyny and treating women like property is another. This book is not so thinly veiled virgin kink or something. It’s so disgusting how all of them talk about they’ll only marry virgins and how they’re “owed” virgins. There was also a comment about how the FMC is good at managing her money “like a man” 🤮 every man that spoke in this book as far as I got was grossly unlikable.
