Ppl who should just be reading Nicolas Sparks books shouldn't be reading dark romance. No, I'm not into HS bully romance, however I prepared myself and dove into the Trilogy. I adjusted to the narration, girl is fine... Troy is always hot, but didn't sound 17... but an easy assimilation. I couldn't put it down for 3 days. the middle got a little slow, but got through it. You go from hating Caleb to the opposite as it flies by. Worth the credits.

the female narrator's voice and the way she speaks made this hard to finish. Very breathy and cringy. but the story line is amazing!!

I could not stop listening BUT everything Marlo did, got on my nerves. And I mean everything! What she said and everything she done made me just want to punch her! Male was arrant and didn't deserve her attention. Make him beg! geezzee...all that said and I still finished. loved the story

It was a great story a long one with a lot of twist and turns that kept me on my toes so yeah highly recommend I also loved the narrator’s

Amazing overall

The details and execution of these books was overall impressive. I felt like I was in the story and it had me on my toes. Highly recommend .

Troy Duran is the only reason I continued listening

Storyline was great!
Troy could narrate the dictionary and I’d listen to it all day, every day!
The female narrator really ruined it for me.
It crossed my mind more than once to switch to reading instead but audiobooks are so convenient when trying to multitask.

It's the little things

I'm in the middle of book one. so far so good...I have one thing, small detail in nature that I will forget...who in their right mind uses charcoal as a base outline for any painting?! seems silly. no offense to the writer, but they must not paint. my daughter, whom is huge in art would have given me the 'for real' look at this. ok. knit picking done!

I did it! Made it to the end and it was worth the wait!

Not sure why it took me almost 5 months to read this…I absolutely LOVE Sarah’s books. I think it was more me than the books (3 in 1). These bad boys were dark and tugged on my emotions a bit. FINALLY finished today and it was worth the wait.
It took me so long I don’t remember ALL the intricacies but I DO remember just how possessive and commanding Caleb was. Wow! That man had NO shame rubbing Margo’s face in his other conquests then declaring her “his.” The dynamics between them were so painful I had to stop reading quit a bit.
There were so many dark elements, child abuse on MANY levels, abandonment, mental illness, wrongful imprisonment, drug addiction…I mean this trilogy had everything thrown in but the kitchen sink! This, of course, made for a great read but boy oh BOY make sure you are in a good spot before you dove in. You won’t regret it. I also listened: Troy Duran rocked it, as always, and I believe I’ve listened to Stephanie Rose on a different series by J.L. Beck and didn’t really care for her cadence. She. Pauses. After every word with a rise and fall within each. “HE. said (he is emphasized and said is quieter. Like He 👏🏽said👏🏽. The entire story was like that but WAY less stressed than in the other series so it didn’t kick me out of the moment as badly.
All in all, a really great addition to my steadily growing S. Massery book collection. She knows dark and how to wield her magic wand well! I’ll give it a bit before I continue with the rest of the crews books but confident I’ll make it back. Enjoy.
