Interesting start to a series

I really enjoyed all three books. The performances were spot on. The relationship development for each couple was well done. Each story was unique (not cookie cutter). I especially enjoyed the humor in book 2, Aaron Shedlock's performance & dry delivery of humorous punch lines was great. Overall each books' narration was spot on. Looking forward to the rest in the series.

Great series!

I really enjoyed these three books and cannot wait to check out the others in the series. They each made me laugh, cry and everything in between. I loved getting to see the brother's relationships grow as they get to know each other again.
The narrators chosen for each book were spectacular!

Each brother is product of his environment. Discovering how each man matures and falls in love is a delight.

Great boxset

I’m so glad I purchased this box set because you get three of the Baker’s Creek brothers for 1 credit. Each book introduces a new brother and his story but they are all tied together and happening at the same time. I think out of these first three books the third one with Pierce and Layla was probably my favorite.

Oh those Aldridge boys

I thoroughly enjoyed this book set. There is something that draws you into this trilogy..If I had to pick a favorite so far it would be Pierce and Leyla.
I also commend the narrators they did a wonderful job. I look forward to hearing/reading the next books.

It dragged

This is my first time listening to this author and I was a little disappointed. The stories were long and drawn out. There was a lot of backstory that just didn’t make sense and it just seemed like it dragged on. The story was ok, there was just a lot of chapters of redundant information. I usually don’t write reviews, but I just felt I needed to.

OK, I am totally invested in this series now! The first in the Baker's Creek Billionaire Brother's series is Loved You Once and the premise has me captivated. Six brothers called back to Baker's Creek for the reading of their estranged father's will. With terms that are beyond believable, the brothers that come from different moms and have fragile relationships all have to live together for 18 months in Bakers Creek. Hayes is the second oldest and takes control of the situation, and along with his old girlfriend, Blair begin to make plans. She is the one he let get away only to marry his brother Carter. Will these two find their way back to each other through this mess of family drama? Book 2, A Moment Like You, Claudia Burgoa continues her Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers with Henry's story. He is the hotel mogul, and he is serious and demanding! Sophia is his match in every way, and together they are running his empire. But little does she know what he has done and what he plans! And just when things are starting to come together, a wrench they don't see coming is thrown at them! Will the be able to overcome the craziness that is family? This book is packed full of humor, witty banter, misunderstanding, and a slow burning passion that had me hooked from the very start.The third book, Defying Our Forever features Pierce and Layla. Problems with their marriage since we met them, they are now in a sticky situation. When they first met, the two were inseparable. Opposites in every way, the chemistry was their glue. Pierce began to become distant though, never really revealing his past, and not contributing to their marriage. Layla was increasingly more and more unhappy and with the his final secret revealed, is not sure she can stay with him. Now with the the terms of his father's will, they are stuck together unless she signs the papers. Will they find their way back to each other? Will the two realize what is truly important? Loved their journey and the interaction with the women and brothers. This is a family I feel like I am with as Claudia Burgoa continues their saga! It's like a reunion each time I visit the Baker's Creek Billionaires.

The narration of these books is fantastic. Each book with it's carefully chosen narrators has a perfect fit for each of the characters. They sound exactly as I expect, with personalities and expressions that bring the stories and characters to life. I am enjoying each one and savoring my time with them.

Amazing book

This was a amazing book. Could not put it down! I hope to find and finish this series!

Great Boxset! A Treat for your Heart & your Ears🎧

This is a fantastic collection of the first three books of the Baker’s Creek Billionaire series! I listened to the audiobook edition and even if you have read these before, it is a great way to revisit the Aldridge brothers and, if you are new to the series, a great to meet them. Each book features a different brother but they do crossover into each other’s books, so I think it is best to enjoy them in the order written. However, each story stands on its own, and everything you need to know about the featured characters is in the descriptive details. I loved each book in the series, starting with “Loved You Once” Hayes Benjamin Aldridge and Blaire’s story, a second chance romance for the doctor and his first love. “A Moment Like You” is up next, Henry Aldridge and Sophia’s story, a grumpy bossy billionaire and his personal assistant, enemies to lovers romance. The third book is “Defying Our Forever”, Pierce Aldridge and Leyla Gibbs’ story, this too is a second chance romance yet so much more as we get the back story of both characters and their relationship. Claudia Burgoa is a gifted author and a master storyteller, she has created something very special in Baker’s Creek and not just the town but with the Aldridge boys. Their father, William Tower Aldridge, set this plan to bring his boys together to create a family he never could have and maybe secretly wanted. Possibly it was his way of redeeming himself for his own peace of mind. I only know I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series and learning more about the Aldridge brothers and their special someones. Each book in this series is just as entertaining as the next and a definite treat to your heart and your ears, since Claudia Burgoa always picks the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Thank you for these amazing novels and emotional rollercoaster ride.

They do so with a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that was a perfect fit for their character’s persona, and were believable in every role they played. Connor Crais and Stella Hunter played Hayes and Blaire with perfection just as Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez did for Henry and Sophia and Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro did for Pierce and Leyla. All were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story and handled the witty dialogue with ease. You could feel how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance. These narrators are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to, their narration enhanced these stories to another level. Thank you for another wonderful listen.
