Publisher's summary

We were watching the sky. They were already here.

The pulse hits without warning.

In one harrowingly destructive instant, a mysterious seismic pulse in the Scottish Highlands rips away all semblance of global security.

Complacency grew in the years since Dan McCarthy brought humanity into contact with intelligent aliens, but those days are gone.

When peace is shattered, fear takes over.

The stakes rise without mercy.

As the pulse's chaos spreads, it becomes painfully clear that Dan's teenage daughter Piper - a child born like no other - might hold humanity's only hope of averting total disaster.

The danger to Earth is imminent. The danger to Piper McCarthy hardly bears thinking about.

And this threat isn’t coming from the stars. This time, it’s been here all along....

New discoveries, conspiracies, and threats like nothing you've ever imagined - dive into Not Alone: The Awakening today!

Note for listeners: Stay tuned for the next book in the series Not Alone: Hidden Wonder.

Prolonging the story

Sadly Craig is really dragging this out. So much repetition is beginning to affect a pretty decent story.
There are enough new characters and basic interest to carry the story.

Absolutely fantastic!

I've listened to all of the series here and James Patrick Cronin truly embodies the characters. Masterful storytelling by Craig A. Falconer. A masterpiece!

one of the best of the series

I felt like this book got the series back to the level of the first two books. It feels more serious and grown up than the last couple in the series, this is about the world not just Dan and his family and small town.

Another Banger

Craig has done it again and knocked it out of the park this series keeps on getting better and better I'm going to be truly sad when it's over

Still a good story line

The endlessly long explanatory sentences just seem so redundant. If you're going to step in on book 7 in a series, you ought to know what's going on by now. Sometimes it's repetitive of things within the book itself.

Everyone's favorite Colorado family is back !!!!

Everyone's favorite Colorado family is back and better than ever.
Piper is a teenage now and with age his powers are stronger than anyone could have imagine. She really is a formidable human being.
New characters introduced on this book are great and I'm so glad to see all of our old friends back again. Dan and Emma are as usual right in the middle of everything, as usual
The cliffhanger at the end...wow! cant wait for the next book which I'm sure is going to be great.

As always James Patrick Conan performance is superb! I love his Scottish accents (I had to re listen to those parts to understand what they were saying and everything hahahaha). After NA6 I was wondering if there was ever a NA/ what would Piper voice sound like. It did not disappoint.

Not my favorite....

I love the series, but those one was underwhelming. The story was boring and predictable. Hopefully the next one in the series picks back up.

Craig A. Falconer Rocks!

Love it! even though he's a writer he seems to know what I like and should get awards concerning Science Fiction! But, I'm just a ready who is having fun playing with wood working to make handmade guitars and while the hours away by listening to books and not letting dyslexia stop me in anyway shape or form. It's nice to know I'm not alone! See ya on the other flip side of Not Alone.
