Publisher's summary

Press your luck too hard, for too long, and man, will you come to regret it.

Jon Ryan had lived long enough to know better. But with age does not automatically come wisdom. He has saved mankind many times. He even resurrected Earth and all its inhabitants from never-having-existed. But he's still haunted, and haunted people do crazy things.

Because of his interventions, Earth's timeline has been totally scrambled. Now Jon feel obligated to restore the original order of time. If he doesn't, many mind-boggling paradoxes will occur. He's not sure he and existence as he knows it will continue. Whatever it takes, he will have his future the way it was always supposed to be.

But can time be altered? How could he possibly achieve his unimaginable goals? With no certain plan, he ricochets through the past, hoping against hope that whatever alterations he's making will restore Earth's original timeline. But it's very likely he will only continue to make matters worse.

An accidental encounter with the dark denizens of the mysterious Void threaten to derail Jon's quest before it even begins. He offends the ghostly Phantoms, and now they will not rest until they see Jon dead—or worse. If Jon's quest was impossible before, with this relentless enemy, it now becomes totally inconceivable.

Follow Jon in his continuing adventures of The Ryanverse. The action is nonstop. The tension is unbearable. The odds are always bleak. But, in spite of all that, Jon's antics will put a smile on your face and make you laugh harder than you have for a very long time.

Think Deadpool in space

Comedy, good characters, and a hell of a listen. One of those books you wished would go on forever. If it has John Ryan, I’m listening to it.

Once again five star in laughs!

Been listening to Jon Ryans journeys since the beginning and still laughing out loud at the most unbelievable times. Narrator is great! He makes Tipps voice as annoying if not more than he is supposed to be ( but that makes it perfect) and you agree Jon should punch him. So glad Al is on this trip with Jon. They have been taking verbal shots at each other since day one. Hope it continues! I will say the only complaint I have is not much honestly happens “time” wise ( no joke intended) in this book. Hope the plot moves forward more and picks up in next book. As there isn’t any publishers packs with this section of the the series, the books are really short to pay a full credit and not much happens. Keeping the faith as the series so far has not disappointed.

Ryan's Gambit

I enjoy all of the stories that you narrate Mr Aiello however I find your use of g he expression "pardon my french" totally insulting. I am French and the7 words you followed with are definitely NOT French!!!

If you love fantasy space sagas, like Craig Arnason’s Culture Series, you will really enjoy Craig’s Robertson’s Joe Ryan sagas.

Can't get enough!

So the first books I listened to were a publishers pack, I was drawn in quickly! So far up to this book I've listened to them all and I have laughed, rolled my eyes and generally just had a wonderful time. each book gets better. There's action, humor, sadness, and one man's inability to stop saving earth and the rest of the universe! I went back and listened to ALL the books in order, and was even better second time around, especially when I could listen to them one after the other. My only tiny little thing that pokes at me is the reuse of names. Marshall pops up first as president, then later there is a man same last name, different period. Are they all related? Might never know. lots of John's too, almost feels like he couldn't find better names or thought to stick with those? I just don't know. But it does not detract from the story, just have to keep up. But there is only 1 John Ryan.....or is there? Listen bread the books. If you're like me and an avid reader, and just want a great escape, join in the fun of this series.
