Lifesaving
I have been listening to Marissa since 2020 . She has helped my overcome my childhood and see things in a positive light instead of a negative . I feel like she talks directly to me and she talks me into picking myself up and moving forward. She makes me cry , she makes me smile . I want to share all the knowledge she has given me with everyone that I see struggling with a multitude of situations. She is amazing and truly a godsend for me . Fascinating stories
My favorite part of the book comes at the end where I was given specific rules on how to talk to myself and "self parent". I didn't grow up with the greatest family. They instilled fear in me about everything. This book showed me that I can undo the damage by being my own loving and supportive parent.
