I hate it when the heroine is a big whiny, crybaby but Evie blew my socks off at the end. She has to be the most BA literary character ever! Katniss wouldn't stand a chance.

Better than expected
I love Kresley Cole, but I'm not a big fan of young adult novels so I was pleasantly surprised when the story hooked me from the first. It had a refreshing lack of the whiny angst that I had come to associate with YA. Emma Galvin did a great job. I loved her husky, youthful sound. She really brought the story to life for me.
I'm recommending this book to everyone!! It's AMAZING!!!

Amazing!
What did you like best about this story?
The story is completely immersive, dense with epic world-building, and witty dialogue. I'm completely hooked on the story and on to the next book today.
Have you listened to any of Emma Galvin and Keith Nobbs ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I'm in love with Emma's performance. Her acting and versatility is amazing. I'd give her a million stars if I could. And I'll be seeking out more books performed by her.

Thought I was going to hate it
So I started this book, and after the first 5 minutes I was 100% sure I was going to hate it. However, I was curious at where it was going so I stuck with it I ended up finishing it and starting the next book. Still not 100% sure what I think, but I finished the book and I wanted more lol.
