Witty and beautifully performed

I have to say this in case anyone else experiences the same thing. I couldn’t stand either of the main characters at the beginning. I almost put it down and I’m so glad I didn’t. What an enjoyable, feel-good book!

A nice story with a stellar narration team! Tolstoy it isn’t, but it made me smile and chuckle throughout.

Excellent story!! Has lots of funny scenes and very cute. Surprise ending to say the very least.

Cute enough- a little long. Performance was good overall. Female voice is a little shrill at times but overall I could tolerate.

Laugh Out Loud Romance

Sometimes you just need a laugh out loud romance and my oh my did this book have me laughing! I highly recommend this on audiobook- the narrators made this even more hilarious! From their first naked meeting, to hiking mishaps and so many other disasters I loved the banter and chemistry between Luca and Billie! ⁣

Luca left Hollywood behind 8 years ago and never looked back, living in remote Alaska held so much more appeal than the chaos of the celebrity life. That is until Billie barrels into his remote life trying to tempt him back to Hollywood with a once in a lifetime script. And of course Billie had gotten herself way in over her head coming to Alaska, she is not meant for the outdoor life and Luca was not going to make the trip easy on her! Their back and forth banter and mishaps had me laughing so many times, nothing like an ill-prepared hike in the woods to bring the laughs! Luca definitely starts off as a jerk, but when he finally opens up, I just loved him and Billie together! The perfect mix of laughs and heart, I was addicted to listening to this book!
