Publisher's summary

"Roses are red, violets are blue, stay away from Andrew Watson's ahem because no other women ever do."

That's quite the way to start a conversation at a casual lunch, huh? Grilled chicken, French fries, and pelvic fatigue, oh my! And that's not even the worst of it.

My friend Raquel didn't pull any punches when she warned me about my brand-new costar and his notoriously player-esque ways. Apparently, my most important mission on my first role in a feature film is to stay immune to his charms.

Are you kidding me? Production costs on this movie are in the hundreds of thousands a day, and staying away from him is supposed to be at the top of my list? Pfft. Puh-lease.

It doesn't matter that he's annoyingly attractive, uber rich, crazy famous, and lusted after by 90 percent of the female population; Andrew Watson is trouble with a capital T - especially for a woman like me. As a preventative measure, I've decided to go ahead and hate him.

Don't worry, you guys, I'm completely in control. There's absolutely no way I'm going to do something stupid like fall in love with him. I can hate the player but still secretly love his addictive game. I'm sure of it.

Contains mature themes.

Hard to listen to her voice!

The storyline was great! The male role voice was amazing but the female voice drove me nuts!! She has a snooty valley girl talks through her nose sound! I couldn’t hardly handle it. I ended up reading it instead of listening to it.

easy 10+ Stars 🌟

This book made me laugh so darn hard. I swear the comedy between these two is off the charts. Loved how Andrew would just get under her skin to piss Birdie off.
As one would expect from the fabulous Max Monroe this story had it all. Highs, lows, funny, tender and most of all a great HEA.
And then when we add in the fact that Alexander Cendese read all of Andy's parts and we have a sure fire winner. I swear to God that Alexander could read me the phone book and I would melt. I'm in serious love with his voice. So just go by this book. You won't be sorry.

Watch out Firecracker!!!

Another wonderful Max Monroe creation!

Alexander Cendese and Stephanie Rose did a great job creating Andrew and Birdy... the stories main characters.

Birdy is a Country singer, who is asked to star in a movie opposite Andrew... chick magnet, trollop, and all around heart breaker.. until he's finally put in his place by the one who won't have him.

Things start to heat up, when the movie's director orders scene 33 at the start of filming. The love scene!
The two of theirs chemistry is off the charts.
Until the director tells them in their love making scene to let the chemicals flow naturally.!
Cut! Cut! Cut! is repeatedly shouted, though it takes a few minutes for the words to connect to the actors.

A joy to listen to, a wonderful conclusion.
I had a great time with Andrew's antics. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!!!

Eh

Story is great but it was so hard to get through the male narration. Female narration was great.

Funny and interesting

The storyline was interesting; Alexander’s frantic style of narration cracked me up. The main female character was a bit different but most of the characters for the most part were likable. Narration was okay.

not good

I forced myself to finish this extremely juvenile story. in no way even slightly believable. and the narration did nothing to improve on it, in fact the narration made it even more juvenile.

Narrator brought story down

Felt like a bts fanfic for a certain movie. Male narrator’s voice was way too cocky and arrogant feeling throughout the story and didn’t feel and growth in the character. Had to force myself not to skip his chapters. Sad because I really have enjoyed other Max Monroe books but I guess they’re allowed a dud, but it could have been the way Andrew was voiced
