Recommended

Highly recommended book and a great look into the philosophy of Stoicism, which has helped me immensely in getting through some of the rough times in my life and also appreciating the great things which I have today. Stoicism teaches me not to focus on the things I cannot change and to accept the challenges in life, because most of the time these experiences make us stronger.

Well Explained

If you are interested in stoicism or looking for a type of philosophy for self-improvement, this is a good book to listen to. The author’s writing style, especially in the first part of the book, was not appealing to me, but he delivers interesting and valuable content in a comprehensible fashion.

Fairly Good

The author was able to concise centuries of such wonderful philosophies in one book where he makes it easy to see it through his eyes and understand the essence of what being a stoic is all about. Most importantly, how we can learn from it and apply it in our everyday life. Kudos to the author.
