What are your beliefs about money management? What are your emotions about it? If someone asked you about your short- and long-term money goals, what would you say?

Questions like these are essential for anyone building a money-management plan, but they’re less about the line-by-line details of taxes and investment holdings and more about your approach to saving money and spending it—and preparing for the future.

Dr. Miranda Reiter, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an assistant professor of personal financial planning at Texas Tech University, has helped hundreds of clients build their money management skills. And in her highly accessible Audible Original, Six Steps to Manage Your Money, she teaches you these very same skills so you can have the confidence to reach the next level of your personal finance journey. Along the way, you’ll learn how to figure out who you are (financially speaking), some simple strategies for eliminating pesky debt and building good credit, smart and savvy ways to save and invest your money, strategies for building your wealth and protecting your assets, and so much more.

Dr. Reiter assures, “I have every confidence that if you apply what you’ve heard throughout this series, you’ll be well on your way to having an incredibly strong financial future.”

Advice you can apply same day

Walking through how to check net work and walk through spending while listening were very helpful. The visual you create at end also helpful. I have already taken steps that make me feel better about my financial situation and the book was pretty short
So easy to finish fast and get to work
