emotions were pretty good. the female Narrator does a fabulous job the name Narrator for me just sounds like an old man. it was difficult for me to over come that. I'm vested in the whole series now so I'm stuck, however, I think the female Narrator should just do the whole book. male Narrator ruins it for me... old man vibes

Excellent!! I want more audiobooks like this!
I recommend it if you like dark romances. It's an addictive story with interesting characters and a good pace. It's a perfect mix of darkness, mafia, obsession, and "love" - if we can call it that.
I liked it more than the previous books. The first one was ok for me, the second one was too silly. But this pair is darker and much more fascinating... I hope the next couple will be as interesting.
And both narrators did a great job. I love Antonio Amato!!

great audio!
Lucas and Chanel make for an interesting couple. I can't wait to read the next book and see what happens after the discoveries at the end of the story. I really enjoyed getting to see Keir and his family through this couples story as well. If you like an unhinged, possessive and controlling man with a strong willed protective woman this book is for you.
The Narration on this book is on point! I really enjoyed listening to Lucas's story!!

Didn’t have a story
This was just 2 f’d up people( their words repeated over and over). Doing f’d up things. If you remove the sex, there would be no book at all.
I don’t know why it has so many rave reviews. All she does is call him names and all he does is shoot people in the head. He shoots people right in front of her, she’s covered in their blood for crying out loud, but as soon as he wags his dk at her she’s all aquiver.
Grrrr 😖

Can you say psycho characters?
I love a good mafia alpha romance but this one - not so much. Two previous books were really good. In this duo Lucas is a freaking PSYCO and the narrator makes him 100 times creepier🫣 this story is so freaking dumb that it’s funny…. Chanel is a street whore with a massive attitude and acts like she can beat up men 🤔
