Truly Helped

I found my wife's love language and it has helped immensely. My wife's love language is act of service. But I have been speaking my language the entire time. Now I know and I'm glad I found this book. Thanks so much

I Learned Something!!

Found this book on sale and was in the mood for some 'self-help' inspiration. This book actually provided some thoughtful inspiration ... a different perspective on the way we love. I liked it. Be aware that there is a religious undertone (Christian)- not offensive, but it is a presence. All in all I think this book is well worth the reading. Liked that the principles could be applied in any love relationship , not just for couples but for families and children as well.

A Must for those that value their marriage

This is absolutely the best book that I have ever read on relationships. It is simple in its suggestions for improving the marriage relationship, and filled with practical illustrations and examples of how to get started. The author, Gary Chapman, a Christian psychologist, packs the book with composite stories from his practice. He answers the myriad of questions that I as a skeptic of such self help books had. I have given a copy of the book to my spouse and am anxious to see if she will be as excited by it as I was. I intend to give copies to my adult children and friends that I think might find it valuable.

Lifechanging!

I wish I had this book when my children were younger. I now understand my primary love language, and I think I understand both of my children's. I highly recommend this book for both married and single people.

Love smarter not harder

This book and the concept of it had made me a better wife, mother, and friend. I love smarter not harder. When I first read and then listened to this book I found myself wondering why I didn't know this about the people around me that I thought I know so well. My husband an 2 boys feel my love stronger now then ever and my youngest that was always depressed I thought is a happier boy now then ever. Thank you Gary Chapman for the words to live by.
