Love it!

I am not religious, so it would have been my preference for the religious overtones to be omitted from this book. However, I think ALL relationships could be improved if everyone paid attention to these five seemingly obvious love languages. What your own is and what the love language of those we love, like, or even work with is powerful to pay attention to. It seems simple and easy, but putting them into every day practice not an easy task.

Good takeaways despite religious atuff

I learned some things I will definitely use in my relationship. Even though this book is written for straight people and there are several references to religion, many of the underlying themes and lessons apply to any relationship. Atheist and gay, I still finished it and got some good information. I didn’t agree with the theory that love is a choice and people should stay with their spouse even if they don’t want to. Otherwise worth a listen for those looking to gain knowledge on how to make their relationship better.

You Won't Regret This Book!

It is amazing how simple concepts can fly right over our heads! This book really has some "Aha" moments. I think everyone should read it atleast once, although I will probably listen to it again start to finish in a few months to cement it in my mind. This book puts labels on feelings that are hard to express. It gives you a way to explain what you need in your relationship, without making your partner who may have just been expressing love in their own language feel as though you're not appreciative and receptive of their efforts.

Communication is key and this helps a lot with making what you need to be happy communicable.

Highly recommended!

Learning how .

I like how they talked about a spouse learning there spouse, love, language, learning how they feel loved and doing it because sometimes we treat others the way we want to be treated and we have to learn that it’s not the way we want to be treated and make them feel good and love. it’s the way they want to be treated. What is their love language is different than ours so taking the time to learn, there’s shows that we care and that we really love them and we really want to show them that we love them this book really breaks down the different types of love languages the different types of ways that people feel loved and it helps us detect what is our love language what makes us feel love as well as our love ones great book
