I am not married yet however i loved the book. I did not know at the time there was a love language book written for singles, in which i will be reading soon. This book has confirmed a few of my feelings , emotions, and concerns.... EXCELLENT.....

This book will change your life!

Wonderful knowledge!
Wonderful knowledge with ideas that I've never thought before. And it pretty much overlaps with what I've been discovering thought years on my own, with mediocre success. Now, as my ~7 years marriage has went sour, I have a hope again, after I had abandoned my faith in love.
Going to work hard again to investigate mine and my spouses love language and start speaking them. :)

Every married person ought to get...
There are so many marriages that are just getting along but has lost the zing. I am a pastor and highly recommend this book to every married couple. Many people get along great during dating and then the honeymoon period, but then something seems to happen. Dr. Chapman takes us past the romance stage to show how to speak a love language to your mate. What one thing can your partner say or do that definitely shows that they love you. This helps show what your love language is, but is your partner consistently doing this. Our upbringing and influences often develop our love language...not every girl desires flowers or chocolates as the "I Love You" language. Do you know what your mate is desiring of you?

I don't like self help books. This was practical and useful. Easy to understand and put into practice in a realistic manner.

I consider this one of the best pieces of advice on relationships I have ever read. Not just for marriages. Works for kids and co-workers, friends and family. Actually useful and amazingly simple. Won't fix everything but it will surely enhance any relationship.
