I purchased an audio of this work and spent a quality two and a half hours of my life with it.
Thank Dr Orloff for articulating so well , what is at times an ambiguous and not so logically friendly truth.
I have clearly recognized the vampires in my life (past and present).
So many of them...especially in the past.
Also what became clear was the times in my life that I have been a vampire, and why I behaved that way.
I now have the techniques and awareness to move toward the extraordinary life that has my name on it.

I kind of expected more from this book. I am feeling a bid negative lately and I was hoping for this book to be my doze. I still feel negative.
The good side is that I am now more aware of people that drain my energy(energy vampires) and I can deal with those people with the advice suggested in this book.
This book also give you 3 meditation exersice whic is good to do when you are stressed and it helps you to make a better energy in your relationship.
The most importand question for me after this book is. Am I a energy vampire to my friends and how can i improve my energy in my life. Her voice kind of annoyed me though.
Listening keeps me reading. Listen while cleaning. Listen while doing the dishes. Listen eating breakfast.
The best part are the tools she shares in the last few chapters.
Practical and relaxing exercises.
I liked how she shared the background of her skills and talents. She's practical and also a bit woo woo which comes together well.
It was moving when she described how her skills and talents weren't acknowledged as a child, yet there was no blame toward her parents. She sees things as they are and it's not about denigrating people, it's more about taking responsibility for ourselves.
