Informative, interesting, enlightening
This is the first meditation book I have ever read so I don't know how to answer that honestly.
No I have not, this is the first of his books I have ever read.
The part of the book where we simply are. We exist and that's a good thing and everything else is situational and created by ourselves and other people.
This is an amazing booknow for beginners I had no idea there were so many different types of meditation. I thought meditation was basically done one way so that was amazing to learn.
I liked the book and would because it covered a lot of material on how to really get started for the why of meditation instead of just how to do it.
This is the first book I've really read in regards to meditation and I think it was a great book to start with.
I think this was an exceptional book as a beginner. I enjoy hearing about backstories and how things developed into what they are instead of just being told the idea of this is what we're going to do now just go do it.

I like reading and listening to various meditation book until I came across to this one, I am so happy that I got this book. This book clearly explains how meditation work and help our body system. I love every tips from this book, some of the can never be found online.

Darren Roebuck because he has a modulated voice. It was enunciated well with correct grammar, proper intonation and emphasis. The information that he presented was easy to understand and full of great details about meditation. I like the character's being optimistic and conscientious.

I was well-informed about the benefits of meditation. I deeply understood about the history of meditation. Great things that I bought this book.
I wanted a beginning meditation dvd. I wanted something to give me an introduction, to get me started. To help me focus, to relieve stress, and help cut out much of the chaos that's all over out there. The dvd is divided into 4 parts. Introduction, Mindful Yoga, Body Scan, and Seated Meditation. I've found that yoga isn't for most 64 year old men who have no flexibility, so I pass on the first 3 parts and only use Seated Meditation. When looking for a beginning meditation dvd I visited Youtube and checked out a number of meditation videos. None were a good fit for me until I found a short 5 minute video of this one. I immediately liked her voice, and found it soothing. So many of the other meditation videos had narrators who didn't sound genuine. This lady does, and has a calmness and experience about her that appealed to me. The quality of the dvd is high. So I'm giving this dvd 5 starts regardless of the fact that I only use 1 part of it. I like that part so much that sometimes I put it on while doing exercises with dumbbells. It calms me and reminds me to slow down, use good form, instead of hurrying.
