This audio was very informative, gave very specific directions on balancing and uplifting your moods, using herbal supplements. I did find I didn't want the audio to end, because of the interesting data, studies and information given. If you are looking for ways to be happier without prescriptions, sleep better, have more energy during the day, this audio has some very interesting findings. When taking the questionnaire, which is found on the moodcure website, I found I fit into many different categories. Does this mean I need about 10 different supplements? A lot of talk of Amino Acids, 5-htp, Sam-e and there affect on your body and who specifically, based on how a bottle makes you feel, which is individually better for you based on your body chemistry. Her voice is pleasant, an easy listen. The reason I did not give this audio 5 stars, is because there are no accompanying PDF's, the audio is not broken into chapters on my audible player, I have no idea where to go back and re-listen, especially after taking the moodcure questionnaire and now need to see what supplements to use. There are so many supplements, tips and advice, I just knew there would be a pdf. It is interesting enough to consider owning the book for reference and for need, because driving I found myself constantly needing to write things down. Again a 10 hour audio book and I will need to re-listen to get the supplements correct. Please forgive my first audible review.

I wasn't even able to get past chapter 3 before I started feeling great. Sometimes emotional issues are as a simple as chemical imbalance in the brain. I immediately ran out and purchased the recommended supplements based on the results I got back from The Mood Cure's mood assessment, and I was feeling better within 12 hours. I don't consider this a placebo effect. I believe it was an authentic mood boost. I have Attention Deficit Disorder and prefer not to take medication. I also wanted to break my morning coffee habit. I'm a morning person, but have been waking up feeling exhausted. After taking everyday supplements, I feel better than I have in months! I'm waking up refreshed, my mind isn't racing, I'm alert all day, and managing stress much better. My peers and family are telling me I have a glow. I'm so happy I trusted my instinct on this book. It gave me knowledge about how the brain and emotive engines work and what is needed to keep them performing efficiently. Don't waste money on therapy, meds, and too many self-help books and other hoaky remedies. Try natural remedies recommended from this book first!

The narrator sounded like an automated voice. To the extreme that it actually made me laugh out loud. It's lucky I wanted this information because if this was a work of fiction I would have thrown in the towel.
There are a number of quizzes, lists, and areas where you skip chapters if the info doesn't pertain to your symptoms. This doesn't work well in audio format. Also- the audiobook chapters do not correlate with the chapters in the book. The author tells you to skip to say, Chapter 5, but it is not the correct chapter.
I listened to get an overveiw but had to order the print version of the book.
I really wanted to like this book and it's solutions. But self-diagnosis/self-medicating is FAR too complicated. My head was reeling at the end. If the point of listening to this book is to make me feel like I'd have to go to this doctor myself to make head or tail of this cure, then it succeeded. It shouldn't be marketing itself as something you can just figure out.
