D&D at it's finest!

I loved this book! It had derring-do, fakery, swashbuckling goodness, and justice in the end!

Great Fun!

This novelization of a really old Dungeons and Dragons game module. That might sound like a stupid concept - but the author doesn't take it too serious and had a lot of fun with it. The characters are fresh, the adventure light, and dialogue boarders on outright comedy with interesting and musing interaction.

I wish that the story was longer.

I will be listening to the rest of the stories very soon. thank you, long live Dungeons and Dragons. I prefer AD&D myself.

Frivolous fun

If you like the old school world of Greyhawk setting from dungeons and dragons with a large dollop of humor you’ll like this book. The voices are good for the most part, but at times are a little over the top. Still, a good, fun light listen!

I love all of the Paul kidd greyhawk classics. I played them all as a kid and I love the comedy and characters of his books. all dungeons and dragons fans should hear them.

great book

I thoroughly enjoyed the book... especially Cinders. the only thing that was strange were the overly sexualized women... but that is typical in D&d and nothing too crazy. still well worth the read to anyone that is a fan of D&D or RPG campaigns

Right amount of Fantasy, Drama and Humor.

Paul Kidd did an amazing job creating characters that are compelling and complicated. Setting the place and time is only dwarfed by a compelling adventure. Bernard's voice talanet is truly superb. I look for to many more of his Narrations.

Amazing Narration

Bernard did an amazing job with the narration! Brought the characters to life. Very fun story as well. Feels like you are witnessing a D&D game in progress with humorous moments just like you would expect a good player would pull off. Love the character interactions. Simple storyline and refreshing humor and character development.
