Not what I was expecting.
Narrator was fantastic. The story was great, right up to the ending. That doesn't mean the story wasn't good. It just means that I was hoping for a different outcome. Still, it was very entertaining.

Not Bad
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I was rather dispointed by the ending of the story. It was as if the author didn't know how to finish the story. There was the build up and then nothing.
Have you listened to any of Marc Thompson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have never been disapointed by any book I have listened to that Marc Thompson has done.

Kinda short
It was good but I felt like it could've been a lot better and lot more in depth. I also know that this is based off of two other games while also being forced to be a prelude to a MMO which limits the directions this book could take. It sucks because I am a big fan of the old republic games and was expecting a plot just as good as the first Old Republic game to go with Revan the Prodigal Knight and that's probably what hurt the book the most. If you haven't at least looked up the over views of the last two games then you will be lost probably at the beginning but it would probably be more fun that a way.

Old Republic Enthralls me!
Love this book. Highly recommend for any star wars fan. More in depth knowledge about sith culture and interesting facts on the old republic.

A true Star Wars story
In these days of the new films coming out that are subpar to say the least, this book got my "Star Wars geek" back in me. Revan, the main 'Jedi' Character is perhaps the most fascinating characters I've ever had to read about. His journey to relocate his memories is a great story driver. Not once in this book was I bored or did I lose focus on it; absolutely enthralling. If your a fan of Star Wars, even if this is your first outing into the Old Republic era, DO NOT SKIP THIS BOOK!

Why?!?
The book itself was great. Problem is the author had a chance to give the book a beautiful happy ending. Good guys triumph against the odds that sort of thing. But HE FREAKING SCREWED IT UP!!!! 😤😡
