it's about time!
I am thrilled that this series is completely unabridged! I think that the rest of the star wars ledgends novels after return of the jedi should all be recorded unabridged, but We can't always have what we want. Even if this series was abridged, it would still be worth it, because Marc is narrating all of the books.

Fantastic.
I loved the first book in this series. Sad that Disney decided to destroy this and cannibalize Legends to make 'New Star Wars' . If you love Star Wars, really love it. You will love this.

Excellent read
I've always been a big fan of the old republic series, and because of this never really took an interest in Luke skywalker but this changed everything! Definitely and excellent read and Marc Thompson is a truly magnificent narrator.

Bring on Abeloth I'm here for it!
When I first heard of the new jedi order 15 or so years ago, I was beyond shut off because of what they did to Chewbacca. However many years have passed and this book is exceptionally written; knowing what's out there in the galaxy makes this book significantly better and it gave me a feel of older star wars books being as this book came from a more civilized age. Loved it and ready for the rest of the abeloth saga and now looking forward to hopefully the new jedi order getting full audio book treatment. Good adventure already and hour or so into the second book and loving it also!

A Must Read for any Star Wars fan
I don't know what is better about this book - the writing or the voice acting by Marc Thompson. Marc Thompson always brings an A+ effort, not only changing his voice to reflect the character that is talking but the known characters (Luke, Leia, Han, Lando, etc) and are always consistent & sound great for those none regular cast (Allana, Tenel Ka, Sith characters, Ves).
Highly recommend this entire series - plus it's the whole unabridged book.
