Great adventure
A little bit macho but redeems itself by not being the misogynist type. Relies on a lot of deus ex machina, especially towards the end. The world-building was interesting enough to keep me engaged for the entire series.

Amazing book!!!

Very enjoyable💙
Monster Hunters International had plenty of action, detail and well placed wit. A nicely rounded story with a gamut of characters and creatures.
Unlike other reviews I had no issue with the politics, it is afterall just a story.
Oliver Wyman is a great narrator, I listened at 1.20X to save myself time as it's a long book.

Fun read
This book was your typical monster hunter tale. There were a few twists that i truly enjoyed, and it was fun to listen to, but it wasn't spectacular. I'll listen to more in this series as I have credits, and I'll bet they get better. The only issue I had was that this is obviously written to start a series. Most books that start a series could easily be left independent, but there are too many loose ends for that here.
