Absolutely Love this series!!!

I have listened to all four of the Charley Davidson books and have enjoyed them immensely, I have no patients with having to wait to see what happens next, dang it:) But book five is almost here Thank goodness!!! And of course I adore Lorelei King, She reads a couple more of my favorite authors. Patricia Briggs- Mercy Thomas series, Janet Evanovich-Stephanie Plum series.
I am so glad I found this series because some one wrote a review on the one of the Patricia Briggs books and said her name and how much they enjoyed her so whomever it was ( I can't remember) Thank you. If I could give these books ten stars I would they keep You laughing, intrigued, interested, and wanting more, THANK YOU SO MUCH Darynda Jones for having a great imagination.

This series is addictive

Charlie is so entertaining! I'm really happy that I found this series. Each book is better than the previous book.

Just gets better and better...

I can't tell you how many times I laughed out loud while listening to this latest installment of the Charley Davidson series! The humor, the chemistry between Charley and Reyes...steaming hot, and a great plot makes this the best so far! Just like the previous books, I can not wait for book 5!

My only frustration is that Charley seems to be really dense when it comes to what she is capable of, and that doesn't really fit with her character overall.

I love the way the characters in this series interact and play off one another. Even though this is a paranormal series, the characters are still very believable.

Loved it!

I absolutely love this book and can't wait to get to the next one. The woman who narrates these novels, I can't remember her name, completely embodies Charlie Davidson. The story lines are always strong with a twist, and the romance is hot.

Fantasy Romance at its Best

There's nothing like a good book; funny, action filled, romance...that keeps you preoccupied with the story until the last page.

such an exhilarating and fun series! Charlie is hilarious, Reyes is sexy as all hell, Cookie is the sweetest, how can you not love them all!

Finally...real action

This book finally gets to the action the reader has been waiting for. Easy listen and had me looking for even a few minutes to hear more of the story.

Our funny, wise cracking girl is back

As the book opens Charley is suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after being tortured in the last book. She hasn't left her apartment or taken on any cases in the past two months. All she has done is order things from the Buy From Home channel. She is feeling helpless and vulnerable and can't shake it. This is a 360º from the independent Reaper that we have known. Her best friend, Cookie, and her sister, Gemma, try to turn her around to no avail.

Enter Reyes Farrow, the son of Satin, for one torrid night and she is back to being herself and the novel begins. She takes a case that puts her life in jeopardy again, dealing with demons, bandits and bank robbers.

She is also back to being her funny, wise cracking self with her bumper sticker and T-shirt sayings. Love her humor and I know that naming everything around her is supposed to be funny but not to me. This I find ridiculous. Previously she's named her breasts (Danger & Will Robinson), her car (Misery), and now in this book she names her brain and skull and is trying to come up with a name for her couch and her life. PLEASE!

Although I like the book I felt the author was trying to incorporate scenes from “Shaded of Gray. Doesn't this sound like it? "With a growl that sent my heart racing into overtime, he wrapped one hand around my throat and the other around my waist. From there, he led me back against the wall." The relationship with Reyes Farrow is dysfunctional but this scene doesn't go along with the independent women she is supposed to be. This does not make sense to me. I’d like to see some feelings develop instead of just raw sex.

This book does leave you looking forward to the next book when I think we/she will learn more about her powers.
