Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts returns with the classic tales of the MacKade brothers - their rebellions, their passions, and their loves.

Ten years after disappearing from Antietam, Maryland, the bad boy has come home. Cleaned up and successful now - though still dangerously good-looking - Rafe MacKade sets the town on fire…and tongues wagging. Not even lovely newcomer Regan Bishop is immune to his charms. Though Regan claims to not want to get involved with a rebel, Rafe's pretty sure that her reaction to their sizzling kisses suggests otherwise.

The Return of Rafe

I enjoyed listening to this story about a man who had to leave home to grow up. I loved the love story between Rafe and Megan. I can't wait to listen to the other books in this series.

Oh, Nora.

She did it once again. I can't get enough of her love stories and the Mackade brothers really hit home with their strong family bonds, brotherly love and mischief, and the everlasting love stories. Great read.

It's an early Nota Roberts book.

It was enjoyable. There wasn't much depth to the story like you expect from her later work. It was a short quick read or should I say listen.

Remarkably Romanic

I love how Nora can take a strong male character that is ruff around the edges and mold him romantically while still allowing him to keep his manly charm. By the time the book was over I wanted Rafe! Enjoyable to say the least.

A SHORT BUT VERY SWEET ROMANCE WITH GHOSTS TOO

From a family of four handsome, sexy, charismatic Alpha brothers bad boy Rafe is back in his hometown after 10 years absence during which time he made a successful house restoration business. But there was one house that's haunted him over the years, a grand, derelict and haunted house on the edge of town and he's just bought it with visions of restoring it to it's former historical glory and making it into a B & B. However, he needs the help of Regan's Antique Business, her knowledge and natural flair to make his vision come to life but the strong willed, independent, talented beauty, together with their mutual attraction, soon captures his imagination along with his heart too.

A very sweet contemporary romance with a sad and tragic Civil War ghost story running through it and there's a bit of angst, an abused wife with 2 shy children and her aggressive husband sub plot and a love story that was funny, light with witty banter and sensual but mild sex scenes. As with all Nora Robert's books, you're guaranteed richly described vivid scenes and loveable characters that soon draw you into their lives as you witness their hopes, dreams and desires slowly being fulfilled. You really feel the dynamics and love between all the brothers which enriches this listen.

Worth a credit? It was a very enjoyable, entertaining light listen that was short, sweet and cost under $5, so at that price there was no need to use a credit.

Over narrated

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Story is good. But no I would not.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Return of Rafe MacKade?

The chilling ghosts

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Luke Daniels?

I dont know but for sure not him. It was not good. To much violence in his voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I dont know.

Any additional comments?

Story is good not NR's best but the caracters are great. Sadly the narator did a poor job of it.

Electric, and Sexy!

Nora Roberts, paints a perfect picture with this vibrant, volital romance. and adds to it the humor of what miss understanding the opposite sex will come to. You can almost visualize being a fly on the wall, with much your minds eye see's.
